Tim Ryan – Technology Director
Tim rejoined Informing to Empower in early 2019 after assisting on the related BeYourGovernment.org project in 2012. After graduating from Humboldt State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sociocultural anthropology, he worked in social services for the county Department of Health and Human Services in Humboldt County, CA.
Previously Tim has both worked and volunteered in the nonprofit sector on various environmental and labor issues. He has been committed to creating radical social change since participating in the Occupy movement of 2011.
About the Candidates Video Debate
This Candidates Video Debate is a project of the non-partisan democratizing media non-profit, Informing to Empower. Our mission is to bring transparency, accountability and integrity to a political process now corrupted by political advertising paid for by special interest donors. We do this by empowering citizens to be the change they want to see by easily sharing, with their social and family networks, political candidates speaking about their positions on important issues. All videos are unedited except for start and stop times, providing a pundit-free forum to help voters make better-informed decisions.
